We are passionate and take great pride in the quality of our surf board quiver. The boards we have available are all in excellent condition. We have a variety to offer surfers of all abilities; easy learning boards to high performance short boards for the guests of our resort.:

 

Gnaraloo 7’4”, 8’4”, 9’2”

 

The Gnaraloo Fatty are especially designed for surf schools and first timers as they are extra thick, wide, stable and they have a handle in the middle so that the kids can carry them too.

The Fatty has a special rocker profile (the curve of the board) that was designed to help new surfers learn to surf faster and have more fun sooner. The boards paddle easily and quickly due to their higher buoyancy and the bottom contours making it easy to catch waves. The wide tail and nose area make the boards very stable under unsure feet inspiring confidence and success.

Gnaraloo is a safe and fun way to get started surfing and learn quickly and safely.

All sizes come with a built in carry handle.

Flounder Pounder: 5’6”, 6’6”

​

The Gnaraloo Softshell Flounder Pounder combines shortboard performance into one of the most user-friendly softboard designs on the market.

SKIN: Thick Polyethylene deck and a soft slick skin on the bottom is super durable, yet soft enough to keep beginners safe.

CORE: Expanded polystyrene core with TRIPLE internal stringer system produces a rigid flex pattern that can be pushed hard through turns. Other softboards can over flex, but the integrity of the rocker is maintained in the Flounder Pounder bringing the feel closer to a traditional fiberglass surfboard.

CONSTRUCTION: Safe for all skill levels, the vacuum construction process eliminates hard or sharp surfaces, and prevents peeling or bubbling.

FEATURES: Leash plug with HD internal reinforcements plus FCS compatible fin boxes and flexible thruster fin set makes it fast and easy to hit the water, and upgrade the performance of the board with stiffer fins.

Channel Islands Al Merrick Twin Fin - Dual Core 5'4"

​

The Twin Fin has a retro 70’s feel, with updated performance qualities. It was originally designed and hand shaped by Britt Merrick when asked to compete in a surf contest where shapers ride retro boards they have created themselves. Inspired by a twin fin that his father Al had shaped for himself in the late 70’s, and that a friend had recently found at a garage sale, Britt took a template off it, drew it on a blank and updated the rocker to have a more modern feel with added positive drive and carving ability. Thus, the new CI Twin Fin was born. The Twin Fin has been tested by Britt, Dane and CI Factory pilots in everything from weak beach breaks to good Rincon and has proved to be a fast and fun wave catching machine. To offset negative characteristics of a usual high-volume retro design, the Twin Fin’s rails are tapered and relatively thin feeling for added sensitivity and responsiveness.

Hypto Krypto 6’0” &  6'4"

 

Currently one of the most in demand and best selling surfboards globally, The Hypto Krypto is a balance of tradition and modern performance. Suited to the elite level surfer to the everyday surfer, it is often referred to as the ‘one board quiver’ for its versatility across all types of surf conditions – from small 1-3 ft beach breaks, to barrels of up to 8ft.

It has a high amount of volume under the chest, which enables it to paddle like a dream. It’s designed for surfing on the open face, to draw fast flowing lines.

The outline resembles an old school twin fin in the nose, yet it draws back to a tight rounded pintail. The wider straighter outline up front creates plenty of speed, yet the round pintail allows tight turns in the pocket.

The foil has plenty of volume around the chest and center area of the board, yet it refines out to a thinner, pinched rail to keep the board connected to the wave.

The rocker is flat throughout, although holds a little extra lift in the entry, which helps when taking off late or turning in the steeper sections of the wave. The design of the rocker is focused around speed, to enable surfers to make sections that they don’t normally expect to make.

The concave runs from a rolled vee in the entry to a slight single, blending into a vee double out the tail which gives the board great speed and control from rail to rail.

7 Surfboards Hook 6'4"

The Hook merges some old and new surfboard design characteristics to offer a fast, yet highly functioning hybrid twin fin surfboard that will unlock a whole new approach to your surfing. This twin offers the confidence to turn without having to compromise power.

OUTLINE: We’ve put a modern twist on the traditional fish outline. It’s still relatively full upfront, but it narrows considerably through the tail. This promotes an easier rail-to-rail transition and allows the rail to engage and bite into the wave face when turning with more force.

ROCKER: Considered medium-to-low, which has its advantages when generating speed and acceleration in softer conditions, however, there’s enough curve to surf closer towards the pocket and still confidently draw a longer line on more open face waves.

CONTOURS: Featuring the signature 7S step-deck to ensure maximum buoyancy under the chest while maintaining a lower rail for sensitivity. Forward vee displaces water efficiently from the wider nose and helps eliminate any sticking feeling when driving down-the-line. Vee transitions into a single/double concave combo through the back offering a nice feeling of sensitivity and liveliness when making more critical turns.

PERFORMANCE: Like with most twin models, the first thing you’ll notice is the speed and the freedom in which it turns and pivots. But, what separates the Hook is that it offers an underlying feeling of security and poise when loading up the fins, i.e. It won’t feel like it’s going to skip out. This is not just a small wave board, it can be surfed confidently in overhead waves. It’s hard to go back to three fins once you ride the Hook!

Modern Love Child 6'4" Volume 42.6L

With loads of surface area up front, and a more tapered outline in the tail, the Modern Love Child is a versatile cruiser that is sure to double your wave count. This surfboard paddles exceptionally well, has plenty of turning ability off the tail, and will adapt as the conditions, and your approach changes.

OUTLINE: The longboard outline up front creates a huge stable zone under the front foot and chest, which is great for catching waves early and riding forward towards the nose. The tapered area pintail keeps the board manoeuvrable and adds control in bigger, steeper waves.

ROCKER: The low rocker is designed to glide effortlessly into waves and maintain down-the-line speed and acceleration. The subtle lift in the tail rocker promotes smooth gliding turns on the face.

CONTOURS: Pronounced vee-double concave starts under the front foot and runs all the way out the back maintaining ample manoeuvrability on an otherwise wide, higher volume board.

FIN: Three different fin configurations offer 3 types of performance. The single and 2 + 1 set-ups deliver a free-flowing ride while promoting longer lines. The quad offers a faster ride with tighter turning capacity.

AESTHETIC: The traditional resin tints, rail laps, and gloss finish not only look striking but also guarantees that each board has its own unique appearance.

Constructed in NSP’s high-performance Protech technology with a 36g molded SecureCell EPS core with custom wet lamination.
• Newly designed reinforced carbon tail patch helps tune the tail flex, mimicking the flex patterns of pro customs.
• Wide nose creates more volume for added buoyancy providing more stability, faster paddling, and easy entry into the smallest waves with quick acceleration.

7 Surfboards Jet Stream 6'9"

Derived from the more refined Slipstream of the past, the new 7S Jetstream is a true hybrid surfboard, both from a design perspective and by definition of its performance. Now with more volume under the chest for better paddling and overall usability, this ‘Performance All-Rounder’ will adapt to a range of conditions from mushy beach breaks to classic point waves.

OUTLINE: There’s more surface area up front compared to a regular shortboard, which is great for generating speed and acceleration when driving off your front foot. The back half resembles a traditional shortboard with a refined outline and a forgiving round tail for smooth, yet controlled rail transitions.

CONTOURS: Tried and tested around the global, the subtle single-to-double concave with vee out through the tail delivers a balance of speed and flow over flatter sections, and responsiveness in hollow waves.

ROCKER: Low-to-moderate entry rocker is designed to offer immediate acceleration from the take off, but still allow the board to fit into more critical parts of the wave. The relaxed tail rocker helps maintain down the line speed, and creates acceleration through the entire turning arc.

FOIL: Foiled just enough through the nose and tail so the board delivers a nice feeling of sensitivity. The performance rail profile completes the design package by adding a highly responsive feel when the board is carving on rail.

Walden Surfboards MINI  MEGA TUFLITE 6'10"

 The Mini Mega Magic is a mid-size version of our best-selling Mega Magic. Sized between 6-7’ it is a sporty version of our Mega Magic. Designed for the bigger guy who is looking for a bigger shortboard ( rather than the Mega Magic which is a shorter longboard). The Mini Mega has more of a shortboard outline with a pulled-in nose, with a lot of extra volume for maximum floatation yet it is still highly maneuverable.

Blackfish 7’

The Modern Blackfish surfboard combines usability and performance in a contemporary fish shape, and our X1 construction offers the strength, flex and performance advantages of epoxy at a very affordable price.

OUTLINE: Contemporary fish shape with the wide point shifted forward to assist with paddle efficiency. The tail narrows in the last 24 inches adding control and bite in steeper sections.

CONTOURS: The subtle single-to-double concave bottom feels very reliable and offers quick response in a variety of conditions.

ROCKER: The smooth, well-balanced rocker is designed to get you into waves early, accelerate fast off the bottom, and then maintain speed as you transition from one turn to the next.

FOIL: The Blackfish has plenty of volume under the chest and through the mid zone creating stability and making it very easy to paddle and ride. The domed deck leads out to performance rails that heighten sensitivity when turning.

NSP Magnet 7'6" Volume 54.4L

Magnet benefits from a PU (polyurethane) core, adding some weight that translates to more hold in hollow waves, and a more composed riding character. 

A stunning combination of style and performance, the Magnet is one of the most popular shapes in the NSP range, built-in classic PU & glass construction, available in the clear coat, sky blue, or Sunburst design.

The 6mm stringer doesn’t just look pleasing, it also improves the strength and rigidity of the board. A satin rub finish differentiates its look from more conventional designs.

A semi-rounded nose with a low entry rocker design puts more volume upfront, giving you more paddle power to catch waves early and easily.

A solid choice as an all-around board for almost all conditions and abilities, it is just as much a perfect board to transition down with from your regular longboard. Beautiful outlines combined with relaxed nose rockers, classic roll to V with double concaves in the tail combine to give you that “easy in” with loads of rail-to-rail performance.

Built with custom surf epoxy lay-up with a clear UV-stable resin and satin rub finish and combined with a CNC-cut EPS core, laminated with a full 220g biaxial 4oz deck and 6oz bottom, 4oz patches around the fin boxes, a 6mm wood stringer, bottom carbon stringer, and carbon-reinforced tail, giving you a durable longboard with great flex and performance, that feels light and responsive.

Walden Surfboards Magic Model 8' & 9'

The Magic Model is the original modern longboard, an all-around performance surfboard and noserider. The Magic Model is designed for all wave heights and all skill levels, just as fun in small surf as it is in big surf. The Magic Model hull has a unique design, so unique it has a patent. Starting at the nose the hull has a single concave that transitions into a double concave about midway through the board and ends towards the tail forming a moderate “V” for fluid rail to rail transitions. The Magic Model rails have a hard edge from nose to tail, unlike round railed boards which push through water and allow water to wrap around the board slowing it down, the Magic's hard rails glide on top of the water creating a sensitivity and quickness that makes the board fast and easy to turn.
